Mattison Christmas Tree 2009

Today we headed out to Devine Acres where we have been getting our Christmas trees since we moved here to San Antonio! The first year we went Kaidon helped daddy cut down a Texas Christmas tree, last year Mommy got to pick out a beautiful tree shipped in from North Carolina and we bought it from Devine but without the boys so Kaidon could put a magic seed in the tree base and wish for a Christmas tree! When he woke up the next morning Daddy had put up the beautiful tree that Mommy had picked out and Kaidon was thrilled to see his wish come true! This year it is Kaysen's first year out there to get a tree, we decided that whatever tree the boys decided they want is the one we will get! (as long as it isnt 10ft+ lol) I am usually very picky about my Christmas tree but I am letting go this year and giving it up to the little guys! It may not be "My" perfect tree but it will be "Our" perfect tree this year!

We stopped on our way home at Sonic the boys had

been good at the tree farm so they deserved

their favorite drink a yummy slush!!

When we got home Kaysen laid down for a much

needed nap while Kaidon got to work on the

decorations for his tree!!

I told him we needed to get the lights on

before we added any decorations so

we started putting up the lights,

Kaidon did a great job helping!!

Kaidon & I got up most

of the decorations together

Kaidon didn't want an Angel on top,

he wanted a Christmas Star! So he got

to decorate a Star for the top of the tree!

Daddy helped him put it on top!

Kaidon really wanted to string cheerios

for his tree so that was next!

Kaysen even got in on the Cheerio

action once he woke up from his nap!

Popcorn and Cheerios added to

their tree, yay!!
