Our Saturday

Today was a pretty busy day around here, it started by Kevin heading out to the chiropractor to help him with his sore back. (Yes, Kevin hurt his back on Thursday while working. He had to miss Friday because he was in a lot of pain. He is feeling better now after his visit with the doc and plans on being back to work Monday morning) Then Kevin took Tyler to see a movie, when they got back we headed to the library with all 3 boys! We got home in time for me to make dinner, Yummy enchiladas! It was another HOT day so everything we did was inside today.

Tyler decided to check out 5 Arthur Books today!
Kaysen brought me this one!

Kaidon was so excited to see so many books about airplanes

and space shuttles! He chose 3 of them to

check out and bring home with us!

Kevin & Tyler went to see the new

Transformers Movie together!

All I can say is HOT!!

Today we decided to take the boys to the pool, they had been asking all week but since Kaidon and Kaysen had not been felling well we needed to stay in the house :( Today was HOT HOT HOT, the kiddie pool was like a hot tub and the big pool was like taking a luke warm bath. Not as refreshing as we had in mind but we still had a great time playing around! The temp got to 103 today I think and the heat index was more like 108-110 so we were not at the pool to long today.

Not a very eventful day

The boys seemed to be feeling a little better today,

they had snack outside in the shade together!

Tyler went on a little bike ride today but didn't

stay out very long as it was so hot outside

Daddy's Game Night

Since the boys have been sick we have been stuck in the house for the past 3 days, so we decided to take the boys to Kevin's game tonight for some fresh air. We made it about 30 minutes before Kaidon went in to melt down and stopped listening so I took the boys back to the car for the remainder of the game. Tyler is turning 9 this year and would love to have some friends come swimming with us for his Birthday! We have rented the pool area for 2 hours and plan on having lunch and cake at the park for everyone after swimming at noon! Please join us for a afternoon of fun in the sun!

Another day at home with sick kiddos

I think the boys are doing a little better today, they are

not coughing as much today and seem to be breathing

easier as well! Hopefully these are good signs

and we will be free of sickness by the weeks end!

Kaidon got blisters from his water shoes he wore on Sunday.

Our poor boy cries every time he bumps them,

even when he is sleeping. I hope they heal fast!

...And even with his little feet sore Kaidon still insists

on dancing with the show "So You Think You Can Dance"

For those of you who don't already know Trish is my Big Sister through a wonderful program called Big Brothers Big Sisters! I met Trish I think when I was just nine years old, forgive me if I am off Trish it was a long time ago ;) We have been friends ever since, just wish I lived closer so I could spend more time with her and family these days!
