Ok so I am gonna give this a try and hopefully I will get a chance to post once a week or so.
We have had a crazy busy October so I guess I will start there....
A few weeks ago Kevin and I decided for sure that our family is complete, so I scheduled a tubal ligation to make official. My mom planned a trip to come and help me out with the kiddos after the surgery. I was so happy to have her come visit & was surprised when my grandma decided to come and visit too! My surgery went very well and I was up and about after a day or so of rest. After a great visit we decided to head out for dinner the night before they were to go home. We went to the Rain Forest Cafe and had a WONDERFUL dinner, much better than our first experience there! After dinner we decided to take the riverboat tour, but on the way over there Kaidon lost his footing and fell down the steps of the bridge taking Grandma with him. It was awful, we were all so scared watching them tumble down the stairs. Luckily both seemed to be ok after the EMT's checked them out & we took them home for the night. Turns out that my Grandma got a bruised pelvis along with all the other scraps and bruises we saw that night. Not really the way we were hoping their visit would end. But thank GOD that Grandma was there to fall with Kaidon cause he could have really been hurt bad falling down all those stairs by himself.
The day after Mom and Grandma flew out I started my new job, a photographer for Life Touch Studio in Target. Dropping off the boys for the first time at the sitters was hard for me but they seem to be ok with it. I am working Wed-Sun so they are at the sitters 3 days a week, Luckily Kevin gets off pretty early so they are only there for a few hours till he picks them up. I am happy to be doing something that I enjoy, it makes it nice that I like going to work! It has been an adjustment for our whole family though.

Here Goes, My first attempt...
We took the boys to the Maize in Hondo and they both won the costume contest, Kaidon got 1st place for the 2-4 year olds and Kaysen got 2nd for the infant-2 year olds! They both won pumpkins, kettle corn & drinks... YUMMY! It was so HOT out but Kaidon seemed to have fun, that boy loves pumpkins! I think I prefer the pumpkin patch in Devine for the little ones, but the corn maize was worth the trip!
A few days later I took the boys to another pumpkin patch here closer to home with some of their friends! The boys went on another Hey Ride, through some hay mazes, and played with their friends for a couple of hours! I got to take tons of cute pictures that I still need to upload and send to the grandparents. I think we are good with the pumpkin patches for this year, so I guess the trick or treating is next on Friday!
Kevin also started his new job the same week as I started mine! He is still installing garage doors just for a different company now. So far it looks like a great opportunity for Kevin, this company has a lot more work for their guys and hopefully will be able to keep him busy though the next year while he studies for his contractors license.
Kaidon is working with a speech therapist right now, though he is not drastically behind for his age he will benefit from working with the therapist for a while. His vocabulary has already improved greatly in the last 4-5 months, now we need to work on sentence structure and communication skills. He LOVES watching Word World, he knows all the characters and enjoys playing along with them! It is way cute to watch him sing & dance with them while he watchs the show. Kaidon's favorite toys by far right now are his airplanes! He looks for real airplanes flyingin the sky every time we are out side. My Grandma got him his newest plane toy while she waas here visiting, his Geo Trax airport!
Well I guess that is it, hopefully I will be able to start updating with our weekly events now!
